|350 g||Basmati rice|
|2 heads||Pak choi|
|3 tbsp||Sesame oil|
|2 tbsp||Soy sauce|
|2 tbsp||Rice wine|
|1 tbsp||Brown sugar|
Peel and finely dice the spring onion and garlic. Remove seeds from chili and cut into thin rings. Cut off the ends of the pak choi heads and cut each lengthwise into strips. In parallel, boil water to cook the Basmati rice.
For the sauce, mix rice cooking wine, soy sauce, water and brown sugar in a small bowl. Cut the smoked tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Fry the tofu until crispy, this should take 3-5 minutes. Then remove the tofu from the pan and add sesame oil to fry the garlic and chili for 2-3 minutes. Add both the pak choi and scallions.
Add the crispy tofu back to the pan and deglaze with the sauce. Serve with the cooked basmati rice. Enjoy your meal!
